Welcome to a unique project

For the  first time in Gurgaon, yoga and modern medicine join hands.

Polycystic ovarian disease is a female gynecologic endocrine disorder of recent times. More and more women are being diagnosed with this gynecological condition of late. It has been proved that lifestyle factors like lack of physical activity, wrong dietary preferences, modern day stress and worries predispose women towards developing PCOD.

In August 2015, Dr Anjali Kumar, in association with Sivananda Yoga Centre, Gurgaon launched a scientific and monitored research study to see the effect of yoga in reversing the polycystic ovarian disorder (PCOD) and its various manifestations. After first year of this program many promising results were seen which encouraged and motivated the launch of second phase of this program. The results of this study will soon be published at national and international levels.

You are invited to be part of this project, if you have been diagnosed with PCOD, and wish to undertake its treatment, though a systematic and monitored practice of yoga. This involves pranayama, surya namaskar, asanas, relaxation, yoga philosophy and other alternative sciences like ayurveda and naturopathy, in a step-by-step manner.
